We want articulate individuals with excellent communication skills to provide technical and sales support to our Manufacturer’s Representatives on our wide range of products for the oil and gas industry. A strong understanding of gas and oil markets is a plus.

A high degree of mechanical/technical aptitude, along with determination and persistence, are keys in this position. Ideal candidates will possess an ability to interpret and explain a very technical product in a very simple manner.

Responsibilities: |
- Provide sales and technical support to Manufacturer’s Representatives, including application/design considerations, product understanding, pricing, customer conflict resolution and company policies and procedures.
- Generate sales by promoting new and existing products.
- Develop relationships with Manufacturer’s Representatives, cultivate new business and manage the data utilizing our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
- Work with Representative Development personnel and supervisor to achieve or exceed planned sales levels within region.
- Ensure service and quality targets are met while continuing to strive toward stretch targets.
- Monitor and evaluate Manufacturer’s Representatives’ sales performance as related to the forecast for the territory.
- Work closely with Manufacturer’s Representatives to ensure lead quality and proper follow-up.
- Follow up on pending business projects and ensure responses to Manufacturer’s Representatives and customers promote value and are focused toward the solution.
- Effectively work and communicate with internal sales resources and customers to facilitate resolution of conflict issues, returns, credit or other sales-related issues within company policy and practice.
- Identify and make recommendations for improvement in the areas of process efficiency and productivity, while identifying sales opportunities and barriers.

Qualifications: |
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent of four (4) years direct sales experience
- Strong closing skills
- Excellent follow-through and organizational skills with a highly developed sense of urgency and prioritization ability.
- Strong written and verbal skills with all levels of employees and customers with an ability to build rapport.
- A mechanical/technical aptitude.
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint and be able to learn the Welker ERP software.
- Effective and penetrating questioning and listening skills in order to align a tactical approach with the strategic goals.
- Strong analytical skills, interpersonal skills and organizational skills
- Maintain a professional demeanor during all interactions with customers/Representatives.

- Starting salaries range from $30,000 to $55,000
