Mechanical Engineer  
     
 

We are looking for an innovative mechanical/design engineer with a degree from an ABET accredited university. Ideal candidates will have a PE license or the desire to pursue one. Because our company customizes equipment for specific customer applications, our engineers are expected to not only design modified versions of our standard equipment, but to work individually or on a team designing new equipment as well. The candidate should be willing to learn and should have the desire to be involved in all aspects of the engineering and design process.

Responsibilities:
  • Performing design and safety calculations
  • Acquiring new product certifications and analyzing customer specifications
  • Work regularly with our drafting, sales, and estimating departments and occasionally work with research and development, manufacturing, and quality control
  • Assisting in producing instruction manuals, when involved in the design of a new products
  • Creating/Checking/Approving drawings and Bills of Material
   
Qualifications:
  • A degree from an ABET accredited university
  • Capable of balancing multiple projects and should have familiarity with AutoCAD and/or Solid Works, as the position will require use of these programs
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, and must be able to learn the Welker ERP software
  • Positive attitude with a proactive nature
  • Electrical background a plus
  • The desire to establish a career in the oil and gas industry!
   
Salary:
  • Starting salaries range from $40,000 to $55,000
  • Determined by experience, education and potential
