|
Responsibilities: |
- Perform scheduled maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of machine shop equipment, consisting of honing machines, manual lathes, CNC machines, milling machines, and other metal working equipment
- Install new machining equipment as required, as well as modify and fabricate components for existing equipment
- Monitor the proper operation of equipment and report needs for major repair and maintenance work
- Troubleshoots and performs necessary electrical and mechanical repairs on various types of machine shop and other processing equipment
- Performs preventative maintenance on production machinery according to PM schedules
- Performs major repairs on all equipment including welding and fabrication
- Documents all repairs or maintenance work done on any equipment
- Assists in training and coaching machine operators on proper operating parameters and instructions for quality and compliance with SOPs

Qualifications: |
- A minimum of five (5) years of mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment; or
- Three (3) years of satisfactory work experience as an Equipment Maintenance Mechanic, or
- An equivalent combination of training and experience
- Availability to work over forty (40) hours per week if required
- Possess a professional work attitude
- High school diploma or equivalent, supplemented by hands-on or vocational school training

- Occasional overtime may also be required
- Positions are available for the day swift, beginning at 7:00 a.m.

- Starting hourly wages range from $10 - $18
- Determined by experience, education and potential
